On March 5th, an aberrant reboot on T3 Touchscreens during a component update caused the devices to fail the update and become non-functional (additional information found below the steps to resolve). STEPS TO RESOLVE For any customers still suffering from an offline T3 Touchscreen since March 5th, the issue can be resolved by doing a Factory Data Reset on the device. Looking at the top of the device: STEP 1 FOR IN-WALLS: Insert a pin or paper clip into the hole to the left of the microphone FOR TABLE TOPS: Press and hold the Volume Up button on the side STEP 2: While holding down button A, insert a pin or paper clip into the Reset pinhole until the screen goes dark STEP 3: Keep holding down button A until the display shows the Control4 logo with a yellow warning triangle STEP 4: If the touchscreen was connected over Wi-Fi, select the SSID and re-enter the password for the wireless network STEP 5: If the touchscreen’s default name was changed in System Manager: rename the device again in System Manager with the same name used before OR re-identify the device into the project with the new name
